This Privacy Policy describes how information is handled in the game “7 Clues 1 Answer” (hereinafter, the “Game”), published by NIL Cool Games (hereinafter, “we” or “us”).

1. Overview

We do not request or store any personal data from users within the Game. A unique device ID is generated and stored on the device, it is transmitted to our server for the sole purpose of monitoring the user's questions and preventing repeating them. All progress and local preferences (such as language, points, or gems) are saved directly on the user’s device. However, the Game integrates third-party services to display advertisements and to update content (levels) via the Internet. These third parties may process certain technical data to provide their services.

2. Data we process directly

  • Personal data: we do not collect, request, or process personally identifiable information (e.g., name, email, phone number). A unique ID is generated, stored locally on the device, and transmitted to our server via API for the sole purpose of submitting uncompleted levels. This ID is essential for the game to work.
  • Game data: points, gems, or options (music/sound/language) are stored locally on the device. They are not transmitted to our servers.

3. Third-party services

The Game displays Google ads (AdMob), including banners and rewarded video ads. Google and its advertising partners may process data such as the device’s advertising identifier, IP address, device/app information, and—depending on user settings and applicable law—may use data to personalize ads.

4. Obtaining levels

If an Internet connection is available, the Game downloads the levels (questions) from https://nilcoolgames.com. We do not identify users (only via the aforementioned unique ID), but the server may log standard technical access data (such as IP address, date/time, user agent) for security, maintenance, and basic metrics.

5. Consent and privacy choices

  • EEA/UK: the Game may display a consent dialog (Google Consent SDK) to choose between personalized or non-personalized ads. You can change your choice from device settings or by reinstalling the app.
  • Disable personalized ads (device settings):
    • Android: Settings > Google > Ads > “Delete advertising ID” or “Opt out of Ads Personalization”.
    • iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking > disable “Allow Apps to Request to Track”.
  • You can also manage your preferences at adssettings.google.com.

6. Children

The Game is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

7. International transfers

Advertising and content distribution services may operate from different countries. Processing by these third parties is carried out in accordance with their policies and applicable legal frameworks (e.g., GDPR, UK GDPR, or equivalent laws).

8. Security

We protect local game data with reasonable technical measures. Downloaded content may be encrypted and signed. However, no measure is infallible; we recommend using the Game on a secure network whenever possible.

9. Data retention

We do not retain personal data (only the generated unique ID which is essential for the game to work). Local game data remains on your device until you uninstall the application, clear the app’s data, or reset the device.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect legal or functional changes in the Game. We will publish the new version at https://nilcoolgames.com/en/privacy.php, indicating the “Last updated” date.
